I've been wishing upon a star for Sundays the way they used to be, when I was a civilian. A bowl a cereal, my favorite pillow and throw, plenty of Mandarin oranges, and good TV. Not just any TV, I'm talking TMC or Lifetime. Saturdays were sacred for cartoons. A down side to being overseas in Bahrain is that the TV guide selection is slim to none!! I need my Sandra Dee, Judy Garland and Katherine Hepburn! Its crazy how much money I've spent on DVDs in the past 6 months.
I was in dire need of a good movie afternoon so I bought The Blind Side, Brothers and The Men Who Stare at Goats. A nice change from my usual Sex and the City, Selena, Evita and Peter Pan. I was not in the least bit disappointed. Loved every minute of them. I didn't want The Blind Side to end.
What are your favorite lazy day movies?

Must say something like The Secret Life of Bees or something of the sort, that type of film that transforms a boring day into a river of emotions. =)

I love many movies... when I need to feel "fashionably inspired", I'll watch Marie Antoinette. When I want to hear good music along with cool visuals, I'll watch Labyrinth or Velvet Goldmine. But I'm also a sucker for animated movies. Anything by Hayao Miyazaki, and I'm a huge champion for Disney's Mulan... it's such an empowering story!!!
