Runways on a Rainy Day

Okay so I lied, it really doesn't rain much here in the desert.  I've been here 10 months already and I can count on one hand how many times its showered.  One of the many things I miss about to East Coast.

Usually on my liberty days my boyfriend and I just chill around the house and relax.  I'm watching Fashion Network from sun-up to sun-down, surrounded by my glossies (old and new), while he's laid out on the couch usually watching old school cartoons on DVD, surrounded by his own glossies which usually consists of The New Yorker, Foreign Affairs, and Running.  These are our "rainy days".
Well not today.  We're going to spend the day at Al Bander Resort.  Fun in the ssuuunnn.  I can't wait to see some results from all my many days in the gym rockin running shorts, sweaty shirts and headbands.

For all of my fellow fashion lovers that are stuck in the house today, I wanted to leave you with some of my current favorite runway shows.  Hopefully you'll enjoy them just as much as I do.  I notice everything from who's sitting in the front row to which model has the best walk to even which model seems to be just starting out all while enjoying the show.  Multi-tasking at it's best!

And this is Gaetano Navarra MIFW Fall/Winter Collection

I hadn't even heard of these designers before I came across these videos on Fashion Network.  I'm so glad I did though, they both have great things to offer us in the wonderful world of fashion!

So what do you think? Did you enjoy them as much as I?? What designers have you newly discovered lately??

Until next time

  4. I don't consider myself much of a "runway person", but I have to admit, those models have swagger. And the designers are wonderful.
